~ ID Requirements: In Texas, you will need one valid form of ID such
as drivers, certified copy of your birth certificate,
U.S. Passport, military ID, and your Social Security number.

~ Residency Requirements: Neither one of you have to be a resident of
Texas.

~ Pre-marital Education: Is not required in the state of Texas.

~ Waiting Period in Texas: There is a 72 hours (3 days) waiting period
in Texas. This can be waived for active duty military
personnel.

~ Expiration Period: Do not obtain the license more than 30 days before
the wedding. The license will expire on day 31 of the
issuance. We recommend getting it 2 weeks before the ceremony.

~ Blood Test: Not required in the State of Texas.

~ Fee: $71.00 (cash)

~ Representation: Both parties must be present at the County Clerk's
office and meet the above requirements. If one party is not
able to be present a signed affidavit must be presented.

~Your license is good in any county in Texas but can only be used in Texas.
